شاب علوي يلقى مصرعه بعملية استهداف طائفي في حمص

Incident:
The young man, Yamen Khidr Al-Hamoud, 21 years old, from the Alawite community and a resident of Al-Zahraa neighborhood, was found shot in the head several hours after going missing while working as a delivery driver for “Gag & Tom” restaurant.

Yamen Khidr Al-Hamoud went out this afternoon to deliver an order to Al-Hamidiya area, before losing contact at 4:00 PM. He was later found at the National Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.

The family of Yamen Khidr Al-Hamoud was prevented from accessing footage from the surveillance cameras in the area, under the pretext of waiting for approval from the “General Security,” raising serious questions about the measures taken.

Analysis:
Available information indicates that the incident has sectarian motives, as Yamen Khidr Al-Hamoud was targeted because he belonged to the Alawite community. Meanwhile, the terrorist gangs of Al-Golani continue to target Alawite citizens and all components of the Syrian people without exception.

May God have mercy on Yamen Khidr Al-Hamoud, and patience and solace to his family, while the series of sectarian killings continues with impunity.
