Monday Night – 1 December 2025

The Jableh countryside witnessed the movement of a security convoy belonging to the de facto authorities in the areas of Ain al-Sharqiyya and Beit Yashout. The activity was unusual and accompanied by heightened tension and fears of sectarian targeting—especially following previous incidents attributed to the same forces in recent months.

Tuesday Morning – 2 December 2025

Contact with Hassan Wehib Salloum was lost while he was traveling on his motorcycle.

Shortly afterward, residents reported finding his body dumped near the Shrine of Sheikh Mousa in the village of Al-Qalaia, lying beside his motorcycle.

The circumstances of the scene strongly indicate a deliberate sectarian killing, with no signs of theft or struggle.
