Field videos document the waiting of the “de facto terrorist authority and their thugs” to confront peaceful Alawite protesters at Al-Zira’a Roundabout, revealing the following events:

• A supporter of the authority, identifying himself as “a Sunni,” arrived at the protest site with the aim of threatening the peaceful Alawite demonstrators.
• Other supporters of the terrorist authority also arrived at the same location, with video footage capturing threats directed at Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, including him being taunted about his mustache.
• Individuals armed and dressed in civilian clothing were present, alongside other pro-authority civilians carrying sticks and bladed weapons.
• Sectarian insults were directed at the Alawite protesters and Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal to provoke them.
• One protester confirmed that supporters of the de facto authority were armed with sticks and bladed weapons.
• Later, the same individuals appeared in the same location armed with automatic rifles, reflecting a serious escalation in threats and the use of violence.
• A video also shows a member of the Ministry of Defense threatening the peaceful Alawite protesters, vowing to run them over and saying: “The Umayyad army will crush all your ‘pigs,’ Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal.”

❗ These scenes document the systematic threats and armed mobilization against peaceful protesters by supporters of the terrorist authority, constituting a clear violation of the right to peaceful assembly and the right to life and physical safety.
