Systematic Sectarian Attacks Against Alawite Civilian Women and Peaceful Female Protesters

Severe sectarian assaults have been documented, carried out by sectarian attackers loyal to the transitional de facto authority, with direct participation by elements of the General Security apparatus affiliated with the de facto terrorist authority. Their role was not limited to providing protection for the attackers; rather, they actively took part in executing the sectarian attack alongside them.

Documented Violations:
• A coordinated sectarian attack carried out jointly by General Security forces and sectarian assailants.
• Physical and verbal assaults against civilian women, including the use of explicit sectarian insults.
• In one recorded video, a woman is seen filming from inside her home when attackers begin pelting her with stones while issuing coercive orders, including: “Turn off the camera.”
• Additional footage documents direct physical assaults on women participating in peaceful demonstrations.

Note: These incidents form part of a systematic and coordinated pattern of sectarian violence, carried out with the involvement of security forces affiliated with the terrorist authority and amid a complete absence of accountability, amounting to grave crimes against civilians.
