‏يذكر أن مجزرة المختارية كانت أول مجزرة ارتكبت بحق العلويين بتاريخ 7 آذار/مارس، واستطاع أقرباء الضحايا المقيمين في الخارج بجمع قائمة لجميع ضحايا القرية (وهم ليس فقط من ظهرو في الفديو) والعدد كان يزيد عن 130 ضحية.

‏The Mukhtariya massacre was one of the first massacres committed against Alawites on March 7. Relatives of the victims living abroad were able to compile a complete list of all the victims not just those who appeared in the video with the total number exceeding 130 victims.
